Hello everybody!

Eh, the hit counts one damn meng lah lolol. Anyways, guys if you have more than 2 photos, please upload to imagestation and provide a link, you can use photobucket to post the thumbnails of one/two pics. This will help keep the blog neater. Meanwhile, let's all try to look for a nicer blogskin >< (sorry for the present one lol) As for the baby photos, I've created an album in the imagestation account. All you need to do is to login to www.imagestation.com (as for the acct and pw, you can ask me/someone who knows) After you've logged in post your photo and change the caption to Number (insert whatever number your photo is) then blahblah description you want. After everyone's done so I'll delete that baby photo post because the number of photos is seriously taking up ALOT of space in the blog. OKAY? :) This is all an attempt to clean up the blog. LOL. Anyways nice job with the class blog templates veron and jolyn :D

We seriously need a new blog template! So far most of the other class blogs I've came upon have already customized theirs. Hmmm. *hinthints. All the photoshop/flash/html/css/orwhateverweirdcodingyouareproat pros, please volunteer! Or if you are too bored at home (which is pretty impossible at the current stage)... you can design a new template too! BTW take into account that the entry box has to be really huge, so that when we upload the pics there it wont screw up. There's a folder in the photos section of our yahoo group to upload your pretty works!

HEY EVERYONE!
chia jone forgot about the netball carnival!!! so im here to publicise it=)
so anw, its on the 6th and 8th of feb.
muz pay $10 to join, each person 2 bucks.
its 5pple per team, 4 on the court at once.
can only have a maximum of 2 guys on the court at any one time.
so an ideal team should have 2guys 3girls or 3guys 2 girls.
if you have 3 guys 2 girls, the girls may get tired cos muz have at least 2 girls on court playing.
if you have 3 girls 2 guys, there is higher opportunity cost as guys have comparative advantage over girls.
(omg econs)
i hope i made sense!
this competition is across faculties, ccas, classes...
so this means that actually you can form a team with ANYONE you like.
BUT 75 being so enthu will go as a class rite? lol
jk its up to you guys la.
but if the whole class wants to go, get the forms from emb!=)

hey seven-fivers!

looks like our cny stall is gonna rock!!! Nice one Nic! Okie..., I think we'll still try to get a powerpoint for our stall la..., good to keep the cookies hot right?

Now for our lantern and banner for cny... Nic came up with a really gd drawing for the banner. It'll definitely score full marks for creativity! I'll show everyone on monday after sch. Jolyn already has an idea for the lantern. I bet its also damn gd! haha! We've also got the skit for total defence, now its up to chengliang to spice it up to make it funny! =) I'm still hoping Scott can come up with a rap too... lol! Looks like 75 is just way too GOOD! haha!

Well, Mon after our last period lets stay back for a while to discuss on the 3 things above. Then those free MUST go fac dance k? cny's coming really soon and i'm sure apollo's gonna be leading after cny! =)

We'll also probably start practising our total defence item on tues and wed afternoons. Btw, the apollo cip next sat is cancelled for us. Go check emb if you havent seen the msg.

On the following week, around 5th to 8th feb we'll need to stay back to make our huge class lantern... to be submitted on 9th feb.

Then on the 12th and 13th feb, we'll have to paint our class banner.... to be submitted on the 15th.

X-country's on the 14th Feb!!! Another event that apollo's gonna win! hehe... okie, that aside, we'll need to start shopping and baking on the 14th and 15th! I suggest we work in the grps allocated by nic. It'll be more productive that way. Then maybe on the 15th once we're done baking we can sleepover at someone's house like what monkey suggested?

We'll probably be having stj and jts on 8th Feb and 3 March..., its not confirmed yet but pls try and keep these 2 days free..., you wouldnt want to miss out all the fun!

hey GREAT JOB on the video jolyn! XD loved it lots! :D (except for the part with me in it, cuz i ruined the nice video x) )

anyway, heard from the seniors that there's gonna be apollo fac dance pracs every monday and thursday after school. 8) they aren't compulsory, of course. but those people who haven't been to any yet/haven't finished learning the dance ~~should~~ must consider going. :D when they see so many apollos doing the dance at CNY, we'll get fac points too! and besides all of you are such good dancers! so don't deprive yourselves. :) kudos to chia jone and zhi yong, who learnt the entire dance in one day! XD

yeah and for those who didn't sign up to the yahoo group and don't have a clue as to what's happening:
-CNY 75 stall budget is $130. each person forks out $5. should be okay, right? :) we're having a bake sale. any strong objections? (people who strongly object, please give other suggestions, okay? this is the best idea we have so far. :P)
-food we'll be selling: brownies, cheese cake, cookies, muffins, possibly donuts/jelly.
-we shld be splitting into groups and prepare one type of food per group. then a smaller number of people can meet at a house and not wreck it too badly.
-food can only be prepared closer to the date, so try and keep your thursday and friday (15th, 16th feb) free so that people can invade your house/you can invade people's houses to prepare the food.
-any other suggestions, please tell chia jone/cen jun/me. :D thanks!!

hey ppl

I thought of something for our total defence item during my training today!!! After pondering over hong hui's idea of that "bomb in the train thing", here's two brief plans.

1. skit: during a train journey, there'll be ppl seated around, some asleep, some reading. 2 ppl will walk in and talk about ns. A suspicious looking guy will enter the train, and leave at the next stop, leaving a bag behind. One of the 2 ppl talking will somehow open the bag and shout bomb... the train becomes chaotic and everyone runs around, screaming... someone will shout and ask everyone to calm down, he calls the staff at the station, bomb diffused, the end. (i know its really lame but at least its something about total defence... haha!

2. Scott and thomas will rap something about total defence (i've no idea what) and the rest of the class will be playing drums with bottles and maybe pails as the background creating the beat... (yep, I was inspired by the s73 performance) Well, cool right?

I prefer the 2nd idea but maybe we can combine both? We start with the bomb in the train thing, we dont act out the part when the bomb is diffused and move directly to the rap. Hows this? Comments? Suggestions?

Sorry if i sound incoherent cuz i'm rushing to go do maths tutorial now! See you tmr! =)

Oh yes, we need to come up with a class performance for Total Defence by this Tue. The theme's "total defence, confidence, commitment and cohesion". Any suggestions? We can do a rap/skit/song/dance... I think best few performances can win faculty points so lets do our best! You know I'm not very creative so pls help! help!
