MATHS TRAIL - Each class has to send one team (4 people) to compete in the Qualifying Round - Qualifying round: 11th April [Wed] 2.15pm
In total, there will be 6 stations set up all over the HwaChong compound. A problem/puzzle or a series of problem/puzzles will be presented at each station and you have to work as a team to complete the tasks within the time limit.
Points are awarded to completed tasks. Teams compete against each other and the team that is fastest is also awarded bonus points. The team that solves all the problems/puzzles within the shortest time will be awarded the station prize. Judges decision is final.
FIRST PRIZE: 4 TI-84 Plus Silver Edition + $80 SECOND PRIZE: 4 TI-84 Plus Silver Edition + $60 THIRD PRIZE: $60 FOURTH PRIZE: $40 Best station prizes: $20 per station.
