this is like...my first non-birthday post in a long looooong time.
my bunkmate asked me last week about this year's MAF (yep, i have 2 hwachong-ians in my bunk). he said he didnt want to miss it for 2 years in a row coz he was in taiwan for exercise last year and he's goin Ex Wallaby this year. for those who're not in NS (lucky you) ex wallaby's in australia.
anyway, so i did a check on google, and surprisingly, the date of this year's MAF is already out. you can check it out @ http://www.hcunite.com/?p=3423
but if you're too busy/lazy (what a contrast lol) to read it at the website, it's gonna be on 11 September 2010.
hopefully most of us can make it? those who went down last year will probably remember it as a boring event, but at least it's a good chance to meet up in school as a class, and reminisce bout our jc days. haha. sure feels damn old to be a j4 who's goin to be a j5 next year until uni starts in aug.
so please just try to make that day free yea?
and on a sidenote, chiajone aka mrjumpstart aka the guy who can spend the whole night studying without sleeping and still do pull-ups and play basketball after h3 chem paper is participating in this year's national day parade. he'll be in the (prestigious) colours party, which is basically a group of 35 (correct me if im wrong) people marching with the flags representing the different regiments of spore. chiajone, of coz, will be representing his 1st Commando Battalion, which recently just won best combat unit (again). he'll be in the front row when they first march in, so just look out for the tall guy in the middle with the red beret and holding a yellow flag. not sure if it'll be easy to spot him on tv, but there's certainly no harm trying. i just saw him marching pass me last week at padanghaha. i think i was supposed to salute (coz of the flags, not him) but i didnt. lol. maybe i will this week.
