this is like...my first non-birthday post in a long looooong time.

my bunkmate asked me last week about this year's MAF (yep, i have 2 hwachong-ians in my bunk). he said he didnt want to miss it for 2 years in a row coz he was in taiwan for exercise last year and he's goin Ex Wallaby this year. for those who're not in NS (lucky you) ex wallaby's in australia.

anyway, so i did a check on google, and surprisingly, the date of this year's MAF is already out. you can check it out @ http://www.hcunite.com/?p=3423

but if you're too busy/lazy (what a contrast lol) to read it at the website, it's gonna be on 11 September 2010.

hopefully most of us can make it? those who went down last year will probably remember it as a boring event, but at least it's a good chance to meet up in school as a class, and reminisce bout our jc days. haha. sure feels damn old to be a j4 who's goin to be a j5 next year until uni starts in aug.

so please just try to make that day free yea?

and on a sidenote, chiajone aka mr jumpstart aka the guy who can spend the whole night studying without sleeping and still do pull-ups and play basketball after h3 chem paper is participating in this year's national day parade. he'll be in the (prestigious) colours party, which is basically a group of 35 (correct me if im wrong) people marching with the flags representing the different regiments of spore. chiajone, of coz, will be representing his 1st Commando Battalion, which recently just won best combat unit (again). he'll be in the front row when they first march in, so just look out for the tall guy in the middle with the red beret and holding a yellow flag. not sure if it'll be easy to spot him on tv, but there's certainly no harm trying. i just saw him marching pass me last week at padang haha. i think i was supposed to salute (coz of the flags, not him) but i didnt. lol. maybe i will this week.

and of course we went on our last-minute-decided-trip down to sunny island--SENTOSA~

(as expected of us to always make very last minute/late decisions)

its was certainly really sunny but the great sea breeze brightened up our quite cheery feelings. of course the guys were..i guess--liberated?and so were the girls who WORKED SO HARD as well :D

so we met up at vivo city and had fun at the National Geographic museum/shop--haha.lots of interesting things to look at!so of course a lot of cam-taking opportunities :D

and then we met up monkey for some sweaty fun biking/skating along the sentosa beaches :DAHHHthe wind ^^~

after that we ended up in cheryl's house where we met the people who refused to cycle/skate with us on sentosa to have dinner.yum.lots of pizza,chicken,fruits,calamansi drink and ALOT of chitchat.so much that we didnt/hardly play any sports there tho cheryl kindly brought down the bballs/racket games. I think we should visit her condo more often.lotsa facilities there ^^

and we visited cheryl's room and we didnt take a photo of it-.-it was filled with loads and loads of trophies.i think the sports day stuff made up a lot of it.haha:D like my medals-.-are pathetically only from hc for my hc years i think O.o

lalala.so thats the end.lalala.more fun next weekend?

looking at the photos, i realised i got fatter O.o any remedies besides cutting down on food and exercising?

anw i was thinking, we should have at least 1 last class event before our first batch of ns men leave for tekong, ppl start working etcetc. coz if we dont, the next time we'll have the whole class together is probably gonna be in school for A level results

so my proposed plan is an outing at east coast park and a 1-night stay at the chalet there on 31 dec. haha. we can go cycling (provided it doesn't rain), countdown to the new year together and watch the 1st sunrise of 2009! (ok sounds like i'm running an advertisment or smth -_-)

anw the prob is that the chalet's damn ex. $248 (including gst) for just 1 night. so we need to have enough ppl who want to stay over at ecp. if we've 16 ppl then each person will pay about $15, which is still reasonable i guess. we can try getting the duplex (double-storey) chalet. it's the same price.

yea just please indicate (on the tagboard can alrdy) whether u can make it. if there's not enough ppl we can still go cycling anw or we can always come up with something else. so if there's any other ideas you have in mind then feel free to suggest them as well.

Hey people, the BBQ at my house tmr is still on! Its set at 6PM, but you all can always come earlier to swim if you like, just call me or something!
